The world has never seen a phenomenon that even comes close to Bitcoin. Absolute robustness. Absolute immutability. Absolute censorship resistance. Absolute truth. Very few grasp how enormous this is, and how profoundly it will change the world.

Virtual credit cards get shut down just as soon as they get started – censorship resistance and privacy is the future

This article is less than a month old and references two budding new virtual credit card startups – Final and Entropay.

Just try visiting Final and Entropay. Both are already shut down. Final was acquired by Goldmans. Entropay is just mysterious. The technology for virtual credit cards has been around for decades, but notice how the service is almost always shut down.

As far as I can tell, the only active virtual credit card services are owned by major US banks – Bank of America and Citibank.

Why is the banking system so dead set on keeping credit card purchases so tightly controlled? Draw your own conclusions but IMO be long on privacy and censorship resistance.
