Getting into Crypto and interested in perspective; is the existence of whales good or bad for the future of Bitcoin as a currency/investment?

I’ve been reading up about cryto recently before entering the market, including the white paper, and have been trying to figure out what the impact of whales has on the future of Bitcoin as either a currency or form of investment. I’m primarily referring to the study by Chainalysis this year:

> A study by the crypto forensics firm Chainalysis examined the 32 biggest whales, who together hold a little more than 1 million of the approximately 17 million Bitcoins mined to date. The smallest whale in the sample holds around 12,000 Bitcoins while the biggest holds more than 85,000 Bitcoins—respectively worth $75 million and $541 million at recent prices.

Decentralized tech marks the birth of a new internet, moving towards more democracy, autonomy, and transparency. However, most people, aren’t interested in revolutionary project ideas. They care about what blockchain can offer, and how it can change their lives in ways they can understand.

Are you interested in tokenized physical goods (electronics, wines, real estate, infrastructure)?

We’re building a marketplace for real-world assets using the distributed ledger technology.

To gauge public interest, we want to conduct a simple study. It’ll take at most 2 minutes of your time. Here’s the link:

We’ll publish the results in a few weeks’ time. We also plan on future studies on this topic.
