Are security tokens and platforms for them the next hype train in crypto?

Hello everyone. I haven’t seen a lot of discussion here about security tokens and those platforms who are offering solutions for them (not including occasional Raven posts) so I’d like to hear what everyone thinks about them.

There are always new hype cycles in crypto. Forks, ASIC coins, platforms (ETH, ICX, WAN etc).. etc, there is always something new that lasts for 2,3 months before we move to something new. I have been in crypto long time, and I trade pretty much on daily basis.

Last trend that I have observed in crypto and I think it is just starting out are security tokens and platforms for them. **Raven** had insane run last 10 days, going from **200** to over **800** sats.

Other projects aren’t pumping yet but there is huge amount of money in **POLY, Harbour, TZERO and OFN**. Except for **Raven** and **POLY** others are not that known, and their valuations are very high(considering its bear market).

For those who are following alt coins, we know that **QNT** on IDEX outperformed pretty much every alt last few weeks, but the current leader in volume seems to be another platform for security tokens which is **Own – CHX**.

I stumbled upon it yesterday when I found some infographic that people were shilling there – [https://i.imgur.com/2nhxtoP.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/2nhxtoP.jpg) , but it started going up and unfortunately I didn’t buy any and I don’t think I will ever be able to get in at lower price. To be honest, the main reason I am looking for more discussion on these tokens is because I am looking for more info on all of them – I know they are going to be the biggest money makers, but I need to optimize my strategy and try to pick the winners.

From what I had gathered from all the interviews, **Raven** seems to be doing well so far but platform is still unreleased. **POLY** relies on ethereum but development seems fine. The only platform that has all solutions already in place is apparently **CHX**, which is why I can’t understand why is it valued so low. If anyone can give me any insight, I would really appreciate it. I can’t find any red flags but I am skeptical as always. I don’t like risking too much but I am not missing another run for sure.

I think that we will see profits from **RVN** flow in to competitor projects but looks like there is still huge upside on **RVN**. It wouldn’t surprise me if it gets to the top of CMC within a month or two. How far it will go nobody knows I guess.

What are **your picks** and what do you think about the whole security tokens thing? Is this the next hype cycle?
